Before disassembly, all base, body and air horns are stamped to ensure proper reassembly with their corresponding parts, and internal components such as jets and metering rods are matched to their original castings to maintain consistent flow characteristics. After disassembly, every part is inspected and cleaned with industrial-grade equipment, worn parts are discarded, and castings are restored to factory finish.
Throughout our meticulous sub-assembly process, threads, inlets and vacuum pipes are inspected and repaired. Throttle and choke plates are scrutinized and replaced if necessary, and throttle bushings are installed to address any shaft play beyond tolerances. Completed base assemblies undergo rigorous vacuum integrity checks, and all body and calibration components are reassembled to maintain product calibration.
Completed products undergo comprehensive flow tests across all operational ranges to ensure precise calibration. Choke adjustment, idle speed and air-screw settings are fine-tuned during testing so technicians can start vehicles upon installation. Each carburetor is packaged with heat-shrink wrapping alongside installation instructions, mounting gaskets and specific technical bulletins for a smooth installation.
